Black Sesame Lily Bulb Congee

Ingrediënten
- 50g white rice (round grain)
- 30g black sesame seeds
- 20g dried lily bulb (Lilium brownii)
- 10g goji berries (optional)
- 600ml water
- Optional: 1 tsp honey
Bereiding
- Wash rice until water runs clear.
- Soak lily bulb in warm water for 15 minutes, then drain.
- Grind black sesame seeds finely in a mortar or coffee grinder.
- Bring water to a boil. Add rice and lily bulb.
- Simmer gently for 30 minutes.
- Add ground black sesame and goji berries.
- Cook for another 5-10 minutes until congee is creamy.
- Optional: add honey before serving.
- Serve warm.
Gebruiksadvies
Eat as breakfast or evening meal, 3-4 times per week. Serve warm.
Contra-indicaties
Not for use with acute colds, spleen qi deficiency with severe diarrhea, or clear cold constitution.
