Chrysanthemum Mint Tea

Calms Liver, descends Yang, clears the mind

Ingrediënten

  • 5g dried chrysanthemum flowers
  • 5g fresh mint leaves
  • 300ml boiling water
  • Optional: 3 goji berries

Bereiding

  1. Place chrysanthemum and mint in a cup or teapot.
  2. Pour boiling water over them.
  3. Steep for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Optional: add goji berries for extra yin nourishment.
  5. Strain and drink lukewarm.

Gebruiksadvies

Drink 1-2 cups per day, preferably in the afternoon. Drink lukewarm.

Contra-indicaties

Not for use with spleen qi deficiency with diarrhea, extreme cold constitution, or during acute fever.
