Ginger Scallion Restorative Tea

Ingrediënten
- 5 slices fresh ginger (with skin, crushed)
- 2 scallions (white part only, chopped)
- 300ml water
- Optional: 1 tsp honey or brown sugar
Bereiding
- Wash ginger and crush with knife. Do not peel (skin is more warming).
- Wash scallions, cut white part into small pieces.
- Bring water to a boil. Add ginger and scallion.
- Simmer gently for 5 minutes.
- Optional: add honey or brown sugar for sweetness.
- Strain the tea. Drink hot.
- After drinking, dress warmly and rest to promote sweating.

Drink at first sign of cold, 2-3 cups per day. Drink hot and then dress warmly to promote sweating.
Contra-indicaties
Not for use with clear Heat symptoms (yellow throat, yellow phlegm, high fever, thirst), yin deficiency with night sweats, or during pregnancy without guidance.
