Roasted Lamb's Quarters with Garlic
Strengthens the spleen, dries dampness, removes bloating, promotes digestion

Ingrediënten
- 500g fresh lamb's quarters (washed)
- 6 cloves garlic (minced)
- 3 cm fresh ginger (grated)
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tsp black pepper (freshly ground)
- 1 tsp cumin powder (optional)
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- Optional: 1 tbsp sesame oil
Bereiding
- Preheat oven to 200°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Wash lamb's quarters thoroughly and pat dry.
- In a bowl, mix lamb's quarters with coconut oil, garlic, ginger, black pepper and cumin.
- Spread evenly on the baking sheet.
- Roast for 10-12 minutes until leaves are crispy and edges are brown.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and optional sesame oil.
- Serve immediately warm.
Gebruiksadvies
Eat as a side dish with warm meals, 2-3 times per week. Serve warm. Very suitable for damp weather. Can be combined with ginger-steamed rice.
Contra-indicaties
Not for use with kidney stones (oxalates), gout, or severe spleen-qi deficiency.
