Sweet Potato Ginger Congee
Builds Spleen Qi, warms the Middle, dries Dampness

Ingrediënten
- 50g white rice (round grain rice)
- 100g sweet potato (peeled, cubed)
- 3 slices fresh ginger (peeled)
- 800ml water
Bereiding
- Wash rice until water runs clear.
- Peel sweet potato and cut into small cubes.
- Bring water to a boil. Add rice and sweet potato.
- Simmer gently for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add ginger for the last 5 minutes.
- Remove ginger before serving.
Gebruiksadvies
Eat as breakfast, 3-4 times per week. Serve warm.
Contra-indicaties
Not for use with acute fever, clear yin deficiency heat (night sweats, red tongue without coating), or constipation due to heat.
