Warming Ginger Fennel Tea
Warms the stomach, expels cold, moves qi, reduces bloating

Ingrediënten
- 6 cm fresh ginger (thinly sliced)
- 2 tsp fennel seeds
- 1 tsp black peppercorns (freshly ground)
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 3 cloves
- 1 star anise (optional)
- 600 ml water
- 1 tbsp honey (optional)
Bereiding
- Combine ginger, fennel seeds, black pepper, cinnamon sticks, cloves and star anise in a pot.
- Add water and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer gently for 5-10 minutes.
- Strain the tea through a fine sieve into a cup or teapot.
- Add honey to taste if desired.
- Serve immediately hot and drink slowly.
Gebruiksadvies
Drink 1-2 cups per day for stomach discomfort due to cold. Serve hot. Preferably after meals or during acute symptoms. Very suitable after eating cold food.
Contra-indicaties
Not for use with stomach fire, heartburn, yellow tongue coating, or pregnancy (large amounts of fennel).
